How Green Should We Be?

The first Earth Day was celebrated 40 years ago.  Yet, Christians should never need a national day to be reminded of the Scripture’s teaching that the Earth is the Lord’s and everything in it (Psalm 24:1).  In an age in which many have made the environment itself an object of worship, Christians are those who should understand that their responsibility to the environment must first be understood in light of their responsibility to God.  On today’s program, Dr. Mohler argues that the Christian’s responsibility to take dominion of the earth must be understood in light of his responsibility to be a good steward.  While proper earth care is the responsibility of every Christian, the Christian can fulfill this calling with the perfect knowledge that the keeper of the earth is the Creator himself.
