Is Ever After Now Too Long?

The recent announcement of Al and Tipper Gore’s separation brought to light the culture’s confusion about marriage.  Several opinion columns have been written that not only argue away the necessity of staying together long term but also celebrate those couples that decide to go their separate ways in their later years.  On today’s program, Dr. Mohler exposes the confusion on this issue calling Christians to remember that marriage is about more than the couple itself.  As an institution given by God, marriage is to reflect the glory of God and rightly does this when the couple entering marriage understands it is to last until “death do us part.”
